Auf der Plenarversammlung des Fakultätentages Informatik am 27.11. 2020 wurde Prof. Karsten Wolf in den Vorstand gewählt und wird künftig die Studienkommission des Fakultätentages leiten.
Dem Fakultätentag gehören die universitären Informatik-Fachbereiche in Deutschland an. Der Fakultätentag vertritt unter anderem die Interessen der Fachbereiche gegenüber der Politik und anderen Organisationen und hilft bei der Gestaltung vergleichbarer und studierbarer Studiengänge.
Prof. Wolf ist seit 2009 der stimmberechtigte Delegierte der Rostocker Informatik im Fakultätentag.

Prof. Wolf elected to the board of the Computer Science Faculty Conference
At the Plenary meeting of the Fakultätentag Informatik on November 27, 2020, Prof. Karsten Wolf was elected to the board and will head the committee for study affairs of the Fakultätentag in the future.
The Fakultätentag includes the university's computer science departments in Germany. It represents, among other things, the interests of the faculties vis-à-vis politics and other organizations and helps to design comparable and studyable courses.
Prof. Wolf has been the voting delegate of Rostocker Informatik in the Fakultätentag since 2009.
